PAL Remote Physiotherapist

I studied Physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam and completed junior rotations in an acute hospital and outpatient trust. In 2018 I commenced work as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist, in this time I gained experience in trauma and orthopaedics, GP clinics, community outpatient settings and rheumatology. From 2020 I began working in an extended scope/ First contact physiotherapy role in primary care, seeing patients at the first point of contact and reducing the GP’s caseload.  I am also an injection therapist and trainee non-medical prescriber.

I have worked with high profile athletes in elite sport within professional football, semi-professional rugby, international American football and British gymnastics, as well as been a keen sportsperson and competing at junior national level field hockey.

I hold a BSc in physiotherapy, MSc in advanced physiotherapy practice, PgCert in advanced disease assessment and management and PgCert in injection therapy. I am also a Health Education England Roadmap to Advanced Practice supervisor, and I am constantly seeking to improve myself, bring out the best in others and provide the best service possible.
